Injector Metering Rail 2 Pressure - Data Valid But Above Normal Operating Range - Moderately Severe Level

FMI: 0/16
Lamp: Amber
REASON: Unexpected high fueling detected on the rear bank.
EFFECT: Engine will only idle or will shut down.
Circuit Description:
The electronic control module (ECM) supplies voltage to open the rear fueling actuator for a short length of time allowing a short pulse of fuel to flow to the injector. The injector then injects the fuel into the cylinder for combustion.
Component Location:
The rear fuel metering actuator is located on the fuel control housing. It is the first actuator from the rear of the engine. The fuel control housing is located on the intake side of the engine below the exhaust gas mixer.
Conditions for Running the Diagnostics:
This diagnostic runs continuously when the keyswitch is in the ON position or when the engine is running.
Conditions for Setting the Fault Codes:
The ECM has detected higher than desired fuel flow from the rear bank.
Action Taken When the Fault Code is Active:
• The ECM illuminates the red STOP ENGINE lamp immediately after the diagnostic runs and fails.
-Engine will only idle or will shut down.
