#To open the Fault Codes:
1). Connect DETROIT Engine (DDEC) using Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link (DDDL v6.46).
2). Once connected, open Diagnostics - Fault Codes menu.

3). It will loading all Active Fault Codes and Inactive Fault Codes in the ECM. An active fault codes are marked by a lamp (RED) in the left-hand margin of the first
column.

4). To get help for troubleshooting one of the fault codes listed:
→Select the item in the list for which you want help by clicking on
it, or
→Click on Troubleshooting Help. The Troubleshooting Help system will open up at a topic providing help for
the selected fault. From this topic you can display instructions stepping you
through the troubleshooting procedure.

5). To clear only selected Inactive Fault Codes from the ECM (DDEC III, DDEC IV and DDEC V
only);
→Select the first code you want to clear by clicking on it in the Fault Codes
window.
→If you want to clear more than one code, hold the Control key down while you
click on the remaining codes. If you want to clear several consecutive codes,
click on the first code and hold the Shift key down while you click on the last
code.
→Then click on Clear Selected Code.
6). To clear all the Inactive Fault Codes from the ECM (DDEC III, DDEC IV and DDEC V only);
→Click on Clear Inactive Codes.
7). To close the Fault Codes window;
→Click on Close.
→Click on Close.
