Check the Magnetic Clutch on A/C Compressor using TECHSTREAM (TIS) Software

Once connected, click "Engine and ECT" on "System Selection Menu".

#Control the A/C Cut Signal

Click "Active Test" on the left-side menu, and "Active Test Selection" displayed as Figure 1.3 below. Choose "Control the A/C Cut Signal" from "Active Test List' display, then click "OK".

-This test activates the Air Conditioner Signal Cut.

-Command: ON/OFF.
-Operate with Ignition ON, Engine OFF, Shift Selector in P (AT) or Neutral (MT), and A/C Switch ON.

Change monitoring "Data List" to "All Data" display, we need to monitoring "A/C Signal". Read More: Monitoring Parameter Data List on Your Car (Real Time) using TECHSTREAM (TIS Software).

Click on ">" to activate (ON) "A/C Cut Signal", and "<" to deactivate (OFF). This function is same as Cooler Thermistor (Evaporator Temperature Sensor) on A/C System, when the setting temperature reached, signal will automatically cut the power supply to Magnetic Clutch on A/C Compressor (through A/C Magnetic Clutch Relay). When status "ON", check the Magnetic Clutch on A/C Compressor, power supply will cut and sounds "CLICK", neither when change the status to "OFF".
Sender (ECM) --> Receiver (A/C Amplifier) --> Signal (A/C Control Cut Signal).
