Graphical View (Graphical Instrument Panel)

The Graphical View displays the default Transmission Data, from the DTC and General Information View, using gauges, thermometers, indicator lights, and other graphical components, along with a speeds strip chart and a mini-DTC grid.

Displaying the Graphical View

#To display the Graphical View:

→Select the Graphical View button - the Graphical View window displays (refer to Figure 1.1 above).

Custom Graphics Monitor

You may select the information to be displayed in the Custom Graphics Monitor window by adding or removing diagnostic data items to be displayed in a user-friendly, graphical view. Each control system has a unique list of diagnostic data items.

Diagnostic data items are added or removed in the Custom Graphics Monitor data selection window in the same way that the Custom Data Monitor selection window is used. Read More: Data Monitor on ALLISON DOC Software (ALLISON Transmission).

Graphical View vs Custom Graphics Monitor

#Graphical View:

a. User-controlled items displayed (N)

b. Actual values displayed (Y)

c. Controls can be resized (Y)

#Custom Graphics Monitor:

a. User-controlled items displayed (Y)

b. Actual values displayed (Y)

c. Controls can be resized (N)

To Select Custom Graphics Monitor Transmission Parameters:

1). Open Allison DOC and connect to ALLISON Transmission. Read More: How to Connecting ALLISON Transmission using ALLISON DOC Software.

2). Select the Custom Graphics Monitor button - The Custom Graphics Monitor data selection window displays.

3). Select the desired diagnostic data item(s) from the left-hand column.

4). Click the >Add> button, or double click the selection - the selected diagnostic data item(s) appears in the right-hand column.

5). Click the >Add All> button to adding all selected diagnostic data items.

6). Click the <Remove< button to removing the selected diagnostic data item(s).

7). Click the <Remove button to removing all selected diagnostic data items.

8). Click the OK button - the selected diagnostic data item(s) appears in the Custom Graphics Monitor window.

Preconfigured Data List

You can save a list of diagnostic data items for display in the Custom Graphics Monitor by using the Preconfigured Data List feature (refer to Figure 1.3 above).

1). Click on the Save button - the Data List Name dialog box displays.

2). Type a unique name for the saved data list and click OK.

3). To use the saved data list:

→Click the Select One drop-down arrow in the Preconfigured Data Lists section.

→Select a list name from the menu.

→Click either Load (to load the list), or Delete (to delete the list).
